Senior Research Engineer, Precise Positioning Algorithms

Learn more about working with us at topconcareers.com Location: Hybrid (Home/Office) Job Summary: As a Senior Research Engineer, you will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, and testing of precise positioning algorithms. You will work on cutting-edge technologies, including GNSS, inertial sensors, and sensor fusion. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and scientists to develop and improve our products. Responsibilities: * Research, design, and develop precise positioning algorithms. * Implement and test algorithms in simulation and real-world environments. * Analyze and evaluate algorithm performance. * Collaborate with other engineers and scientists. * Write technical reports and publications. * Participate in industry conferences and workshops. Qualifications: * PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in the development of precise positioning algorithms. * Strong understanding of GNSS, inertial sensors, and sensor fusion. * Experience with Kalman filtering and other estimation techniques. * Proficiency in C++ and MATLAB. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with real-time systems. * Experience with embedded systems. * Experience with machine learning. * Knowledge of surveying and mapping.
