Senior Reporting and Insights Specialist (Human Resources)

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be the go-to for strategic HR reporting and insights, responsible for:

  • Designing and building interactive, KPI-driven dashboards in Power BI.
  • Transforming data into storytelling dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Applying advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modelling and exploring AI tools for generative insights.
  • Integrating and transforming data from multiple HR systems (Workday, aPay) to create a unified, accurate, and reliable data foundation for reporting and analytics.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to influence workforce planning and decision-making.

Please note this is a full-time (37.5hours/week) position, with a salary range of $110,700 - $136,700 depending on skills and experience.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and solution-focused, with the ability to translate data into meaningful stories for technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field.

Experience:

  • 4+ years in data or analytics roles (HR or People Analytics preferred), with at least 1–2 years at a senior advisory level.
  • Proven ability to deliver strategic reporting and insights at a senior level.
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday, SmartRecruiters)
  • Experience in leveraging AI for advanced reporting and insights.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Power BI (including DAX for complex measures and knowledge of M query).
  • Strong SQL and familiarity with Snowflake.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
