Senior Renewable Energy Design and Studies Engineer

The Senior Renewable Energy Studies & Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and strategic execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar PV, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role is responsible for leading high-impact engineering initiatives that drive innovation, ensure regulatory alignment, and support the company’s long-term energy transition goals. The incumbent will serve as a technical authority, guiding multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements and stakeholder expectations. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing comprehensive renewable energy studies and design strategies for utility-scale projects; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of engineering initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements; • Providing technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and other stakeholders; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in renewable energy systems and energy storage; • Participating in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and within-budget delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in renewable energy engineering, with experience in solar PV, wind, or battery energy storage system design and development. A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil) is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
