Senior Regulatory Officer

Within the Compliance & Risk department, the Senior Regulatory Expert joins the Regulatory team and contributes directly to Lemonway's regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Regulatory Watch and Analysis
Ensure regular monitoring of regulatory developments applicable to PSPs in France and Europe (PSD3, MiCA, DORA, instant payments, etc.)
Draft analysis notes on the operational impacts of new regulations for internal teams.
Support for Relations with Supervisory Authorities
Contribute to the preparation of periodic regulatory reporting (prudential reports, own funds, activity declarations)
Participate in the preparation of responses to information requests from the ACPR and European regulators.
Monitoring of Authorization Conditions
Monitor compliance with PSP authorization conditions: own funds, segregation of client funds, governance
Contribute to the processing of authorization modification files and passporting procedures.
Product & Business Regulatory Compliance
Analyze new products and services from a regulatory perspective before their launch
Update internal regulatory policies and procedures
Respond to regulatory questions from sales, product, and tech teams on a daily basis
Education
Master's degree (Bac +5) in business law, banking and financial law, or equivalent
CAPA (lawyer) or Master's degree in financial law / compliance is a plus.
Experience
> 5 years of experience in regulatory matters related to payment services, FinTech, or the banking sector.
Skills
Good knowledge of payment services regulation (PSD2/PSD3, ACPR authorization, prudential rules)
Strong interest in emerging topics: MiCA, DORA, open banking, instant payments
Ability to draft clear and concise analyses on technical subjects
Rigor, intellectual curiosity, and autonomy in work organization
Languages
Fluent French (primary working language)
Professional English required - C1 level minimum (internal procedures, interactions with European regulators, international partners)
