Senior Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

The CURRENTA GROUP is looking for you for Group Function Accounting.

As a Senior Specialist in Accounting, you will independently take on challenging tasks in accounting and actively contribute to the further development of our accounting and financial statement processes:

• Responsibility for the general ledger and involvement in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS

• Preparation of notes, management reports, reports, analyses, and ad-hoc analyses

• Independent accounting assessment of business transactions and contracts as well as evaluation of possible accounting risks

• Central point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and tax auditors, as well as coordination and processing of technical inquiries

• Ensuring compliance with accounting and bookkeeping regulations, documentation, and compliance requirements, as well as performing account reconciliations

• Identification and implementation of improvements in bookkeeping, financial statement, and corporate processes using your HGB and IFRS expertise

• Completed further training as a Certified Accountant (IHK), business administration degree with a focus on Accounting, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial accounting, or auditing

• Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and ideally experience with regulatory requirements in the energy sector

• High affinity for AI and digitalization

• Experience in the further development and digitalization of accounting processes and in participating in cross-departmental projects

• Confident use of SAP FI/CO and MS Office

• Structured, self-directed, and solution-oriented approach, analytical thinking skills, and a strong sense of quality

• Hands-on mentality, teamwork, flexibility, and strong communication skills, especially with complex technical topics

Note:

The salary indicated is an annual salary. The starting salary will depend on your qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can look forward to a bonus, depending on the achievement of common company goals.
