Contributing to the development of departmental policy, including realizing innovative, multidisciplinary developments and advising departmental management and business managers.
You will collaborate with colleagues from other teams on various types of projects that deliver high-quality technological simulation and training solutions to end-users in aviation operations. You will have frequent contact and interactive work sessions with them to achieve groundbreaking total solutions.
Your enthusiasm and willingness to delve into the operational world of these users is essential. You will do this not only from your desk but also at the operational users' locations, and regularly together with industry and knowledge partners worldwide!
What do you bring?
A completed Master's degree (WO) in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study;
Extensive (>10 years) work experience in a technical or scientific discipline, with a focus on simulation, training, or a related field, such as aviation, aerospace, defense, or other industries where complex systems and processes are simulated. Strong affinity and experience in the military domain is a plus;
Affinity with innovative M&S technology, such as real-time simulation technology, AR/VR/MR, IoT, data and software architectures, and networks;
Interest or experience in connecting systems and ensuring interoperability, for example, by working with network protocols or architectures;
