Senior Quantum Control Scientist

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Quantum Control Scientist at IDEADED. As a key member of our quantum computing team, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, implementing, and characterizing control protocols for superconducting quantum processors. You will work closely with other scientists and engineers to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing. Responsibilities Design and simulate control pulses for superconducting qubits. Implement and test control protocols on quantum hardware. Characterize the performance of quantum processors. Analyze experimental data and provide feedback for improvements. Collaborate with other team members on research projects. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in quantum computing. Mentor junior scientists and engineers. Qualifications PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum information theory. Experience with superconducting qubits and quantum control. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. Experience with quantum control software and hardware (e.g., Qiskit, QuEST, RF instruments). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills Experience with microwave engineering and RF systems. Experience with cryogenic systems. Experience with data analysis and machine learning techniques.
