Senior Quantity Surveyor

Hire Resolve's client, a leading construction company based in Centurion JHB, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for construction projects in Centurion JHB and surrounding areas. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for: • Developing and implementing cost plans and budgets for construction projects; • Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress of construction projects; • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery; • Providing expert advice on quantity surveying matters to clients, contractors, and project managers; • Maintaining accurate records and reports of project costs and progress; • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; • 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry; • Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, practices, and regulations; • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
