Senior Quantity Surveyor (Building) – Construction Industry
Job description
RPO Recruitment’s client, a contractor operating nationwide, is in need of a Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in large building projects such as Retail ,Commercial & Residential for their operations in Kwazulu-Natal
Requirements:
- BTech Quantity Surveying / B.Sc Quantity Surveying or similar
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction / building
- Contractual Aptitude – Understanding Principal and Subcontract Agreements, JBCC, NEC, GCC.
- Proven experience with JBCC contracts
- Proven CCS experience
- Cost planning
- Estimating / prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Cost Analysis
- Cost-in-use studies
- Value Management to establish a project budget / Risk management
