(Senior) Quality Manager for Supplier & Service Provider Management (m/w/d)

Full Time Senior

Job description

Your Tasks

Fixed-term employment: 1 year

You are the point of contact: for the management of our global supplier and service provider relationships. You ensure that our suppliers do not just shine on paper, but also deliver in reality. You make sure that the standards are upheld along the entire chain – from the first phone call to the on-site audit.

Your Key Tasks

  • Active Supplier Management & Onboarding: You manage the complete supplier release and listing. You are the "Gatekeeper", and decide who meets our quality requirements.
  • Audit & Travel Readiness: You plan and conduct supplier audits (internationally). With your keen eye for detail, you discover discrepancies that others might miss during production inspections.
  • Communication & Moderation: Emails are good, but you prefer to pick up the phone to clarify things directly. You moderate conversations skillfully – even when it gets tough.
  • Safeguarding of Standards (IFS & HACCP): You check compliance with the IFS standard and HACCP guidelines at our partners. You know exactly what's required on an audit checklist and how to methodically process it.
  • Document Management: You ensure that all certificates and supporting documents are up-to-date and complete, so as not to jeopardize our own IFS broker certification.

Your Profile

  • Professional Qualifications: You look back on at least 3 years of professional experience in quality or supplier management. HACCP knowledge and deep understanding of the IFS standard (including Food Defense/Fraud Awareness) are a given for you.
  • Audit Competence: You possess proof of your competence (e.g., certificate as internal auditor) and are confident handling audit checklists and moderation methods.
  • Communication & Language Skills: You are extroverted and communicative. You have no hesitation in international phone calls and addressing problems directly.
  • Personal Strengths: You bring the necessary resilience and assertiveness to stand firm even when faced with deviations during an audit.
  • Eye for Detail: Whether in contract documents or production halls – nothing escapes your notice.
  • Your English is negotiation-proof.
  • You possess a high travel readiness and a driver's license.

What awaits you with us

  • You can enrich our diverse team with your ideas and actively shape the future of the food industry in a rapidly growing scale-up.
  • A comprehensive onboarding process, as well as varied and challenging tasks.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home (home office) ensure a good work-life balance.
  • A modern office in Berlin Schöneberg, easily accessible by public transportation – and we'll cover the costs of your BVG monthly ticket.
  • Find your way back to the gym thanks to fitness partnerships like Urban Sports Club or FitX.
  • Optimal performance with a Windows laptop or MacBook.
  • A perfectly equipped kitchen with fresh fruit, tasty snacks & coffee/tea, including.
  • 20% discount in our KoRo online shop.
  • team events and joint activities, as well as legendary company parties.
