Senior QA Specialist

We are looking for someone who not only effectively tests software but also actively participates in requirement analysis, risk identification, and product quality improvement. You will join an existing QA team and will collaborate daily with other specialists responsible for ensuring the quality of our solutions – with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers. As a Senior QA Specialist, you will serve as a quality expert and a partner for the project team, supporting product development at every stage of its lifecycle – from requirement analysis, through testing, to implementation and maintenance. What will be your responsibilities? Participation in the full software development lifecycle – from business and technical requirement analysis, through testing, to product implementation and maintenance. Analysis, collection, and refinement of business and technical requirements. Close collaboration with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure high quality of delivered solutions. Responsibility for selected product areas or business domains (end-to-end ownership). Designing test scenarios and test cases, considering risks and business impact. Performing functional, regression, exploratory, acceptance, and non-functional tests. Testing APIs and verifying data necessary for test process execution. Reporting, analyzing, and verifying reported defects. Managing the bug lifecycle and supporting the prioritization process with business and Product Owners. Analyzing the impact of changes on existing functionalities and business processes. Estimating test scope and effort required for verifying new functionalities. Co-creating test strategies for new functionalities and projects. Creating test reports and recommendations regarding product quality and release readiness. Conducting Root Cause Analysis after critical defects or production incidents. Proposing and implementing improvements to the testing process. Co-creating test standards and quality definitions within the team. Supporting the development of less experienced testers through consultations, knowledge sharing, and mentoring. Supporting the technical support team in analyzing and resolving customer inquiries. Apply to us if: You have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in software testing. You can boast of good knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and techniques. You have experience in analyzing business and functional requirements and identifying associated risks. You can design test scenarios and test cases considering business risks. You have experience in planning test scope and prioritizing testing activities. You are comfortable performing manual, exploratory, regression, acceptance, and non-functional tests. You have experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. You know SQL, which allows you to analyze and verify test data. You can diagnose and precisely report bugs. You are independent and have excellent work organization and decision-making skills. You know English at a level that allows you to freely read technical documentation. Nice to have: Experience in the cybersecurity industry. Experience in testing desktop applications or native Windows applications. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of database management tools (e.g., pgAdmin). ISTQB Advanced Level certificate or equivalent. Interest in using AI tools in daily QA work and seeking ways to increase the efficiency of quality processes. Experience in test automation or willingness to develop in this area. This is a long list of expectations – we understand this and don't want it to discourage you! In return, we offer: Salary in the range of 11,500 - 14,800 PLN gross on an employment contract or B2B: 14,000 - 18,000 PLN and quarterly bonuses.
