Your mission:
- You will develop and be responsible for an overarching quality strategy that covers both our new microservice/microfrontend architecture and existing legacy systems.
- You will build a modern and scalable testing landscape, establish standards and processes, and enable our developers to ensure sustainable quality in all products.
- In short: You bring structure, stability, and quality to a dynamically growing software organization.
Your profile:
- Deep understanding of modern test strategies (test pyramid, unit-, component-, contract-, E2E-, performance tests)
- Very good knowledge in TypeScript as well as practical experience with Playwright, Jest, and/or Vitest
- Experience with microservice architectures, microfrontends, and API/contract testing
- Expertise in building and developing test automation and test frameworks
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps)
- Strong architecture and system understanding including legacy integration
- Able to coach development teams and build a quality culture
- Fluent language skills in German and English
- Ownership, prioritization strength, and systemic thinking
Bonus:
- Experience with domain-driven testing
- Knowledge in test data strategy & test environment management
- Experience with non-functional tests (performance, security, reliability)
- Industry knowledge in Automotive, ERP, or Finance
