Senior QA Engineer

• Ensure products and services meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution and monitoring
• Perform automated and manual testing of our websites and APIs
• Testing, sign-off on user stories, defect corrections, and production releases
• Identify software defects and manage their lifecycle to ensure quality assurance
• Drive test strategy and automation to keep processes and workflows efficient
• Keep raising the bar and standards of quality processes and be part of upskilling less experienced QA colleagues
• Be the gatekeeper and verify that all quality-related activities are in accordance with codes and standards
• Collaborate to define, document, improve and automate processes
• Develop and refine test and QA strategies for our products and services
• Create, adjust and maintain automated/manual test cases and test plans
• Perform code reviews on automated tests
• Continuous improvement on processes, metrics and keeping up with trends

• Bachelor's degree or three years of work experience
• At least 5 years of QA experience in the software industry
• Fluent in test automation (Cypress.io, Selenium, etc.)
• Familiar with different types of testing: smoke, system, integration, regression, performance, load, user acceptance
• Superior proficiency in testing web apps and APIs
• Superior proficiency in Git and release management
• Understanding of the challenges of building software products for the global market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Ability to organise and plan work independently and within the team
• Up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and QA best practices

• We have physical offices in Cape Town, Romania and Mauritius, and will support with a co-working space if you need it outside of those areas
