• You take responsibility for test architectures and automation: You will conceptualize and maintain automation architectures, ensure the quality of business-critical applications, and further develop test processes.
• You implement modern automation solutions: With tools like Playwright, REST Assured, Cucumber, Tricentis Tosca, or Cypress, you will develop automated tests and integrate them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
• You plan and manage tests – and advise your clients: You will coordinate test activities, lead smaller teams, and support project and specialist teams in developing test strategies, quality assurance, and best practices.
• You analyze and report results: You will evaluate test results, document deviations, monitor test progress, and initiate optimizations.
• You work on diverse topics: Whether agile teams, DevOps environments, cloud or mobile testing – you contribute your expertise and stay technologically up-to-date.

What you bring

• You have at least 3-5 years of practical experience in software testing, test automation, or quality assurance – ideally in a consulting role.
• You master several programming languages – e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or Typescript – and feel confident using test and performance tools like Playwright, Cucumber, JUnit, REST Assured, Tricentis Tosca, JMeter, or Gatling.
• You are familiar with modern test concepts and standards: Agile testing, risk-based strategies, or exploratory test design are familiar to you, and you already have an ISTQB certification.
• Ideally, you also have experience in accessibility (Accessibility Testing) and in testing of and with AI-based applications and systems.
• You communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience: Whether with developers, product owners, or stakeholders – you can gather requirements, present results, and make recommendations. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs is a plus.
• You bring team spirit and leadership experience: You have already managed smaller teams or provided technical guidance and development to colleagues.
• You speak German at a native level, and communication in English is not a problem for you.
