Senior Python Engineer - Westbury Partners

As part of a high-performance trading team, you’ll be solving large-scale computing problems and deploying robust trading infrastructure. You’ll work with world-class developers, researchers, and traders to deliver low-latency, fault-tolerant solutions. About You: You’re a Python Engineer expert who thrives in Linux environments, loves data challenges, and takes initiative. You enjoy solving tough problems and building systems that scale. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field is required. 5+ years of experience with Python programming language, including proficiency in Python 3.x. Strong understanding of Linux operating system and ability to work effectively in a Unix-based environment. Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of database systems, including relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
