Senior Python Developer - Django, Release Lead (m/w/d)

We're looking for a Release Lead who, together with Product Management and Developers, ensures the quality of our core product and continuously develops it. In this role, you'll take technical responsibility for clean integrations, reliable deployments, and high code quality, and shape the stability and further development of our platform.

We're a young, highly motivated team with a family-like atmosphere. As a compensation for remote work, we meet once a month in Dülmen and twice a year for team events at particularly exciting locations around the world.

Tasks

• You define clear Release-Scopes, coordinate their implementation, and take responsibility for the entire release cycle.
• You conduct Code-Reviews from developers, ensure quality, and take care of clean integrations into the system.
• You test new features, integrate them into the productive system, and take care of the necessary Dokumentation.
• You inspect and optimize our Merge-, Release-, and Deployment-Prozesse as well as our CI/CD-Pipelines.

Qualification

• Technical understanding of Python-based web applications (e.g. Django, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, REST-APIs, Linux).
• Experience in handling Code-Reviews, quality assurance, and clean development processes.
• Basic understanding of IT-Security, secure software development, data protection, and handling sensitive data.
• Structured working style, advanced analytical thinking, and high attention to detail when testing and dokumenting.
• Helpfulness, team orientation, and very good communication skills.
• German on a native speaker level and very good English skills.
