Senior Proposal Engineer

Position

We are looking for a Facility Proposal Engineer for our Nova Milanese office; the position reports directly to the Maintenance & Services Manager, who in turn reports directly to the Technical Director of the Fervo Group, and collaborates with the Commercial structure, the Tenders Office, and the group's Business Units.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Analysis of tender documentation and project requirements, with evaluation of technical, regulatory, contractual, and economic aspects to support the bidding strategy.
• Preparation and development of technical proposals, through the definition of operational methodologies, work plans, improvement solutions, and service models aimed at maximizing the value of the proposal.
• Preparation of economic estimates and project costs, including the analysis of labor, materials, supplies, and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with profitability objectives.
• Technical coordination and support for project initiation, through risk management, interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and transfer of information to the operational team upon award.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in technical disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience in the role.
• General knowledge of plant engineering (Electrical systems, thermo-mechanical systems, etc.);
• Experience in tendering and cost analysis, with a particular focus on labor, materials, supplies, and subcontracts.
• Excellent command of Excel and economic analysis tools for the preparation of bills of quantities and cost models.
• Knowledge of public and private procurement regulations and the logic of evaluating OEPV tenders.
• Good knowledge of the main technical software in the sector (e.g., Primus, AutoCAD, and MS Project)
