As a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for complex IT projects in application development and actively drive their digital transformation forward together with our clients. You will shape both the further development of existing system landscapes and the creation of new solutions. The use of AI in business and core processes is gaining increasing importance.

Your Responsibilities

• You will take over the operational planning, control, and communication of complex software and digitalization projects and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.

• In agreement with the clients, you will use agile, traditional, or hybrid project management methods.

• You will represent red6's interests with our clients and identify potential for follow-up or additional business within your projects. You will act as a peer-level contact person and actively contribute to the development of client relationships.

• You will be the central point of contact between business units, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication.

• In more complex project situations, you will work solution-oriented and support the project team with your experience.

• You will actively contribute to internal strategy and development initiatives and help to continuously sharpen and expand our project management as an independent service offering.

What You Bring

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in IT project management within the insurance or financial industry.

• At least 6 years of experience in leading IT projects, ideally in software development.

• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP/PMI, PRINCE2, Agile Coach, Scrum Master) will round off your profile.  

• Deep understanding of the business processes and system architecture of an insurance company.

• You communicate and moderate confidently, assert your position even in controversial discussions with various stakeholders, and penetrate complex issues analytically.

• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.

• Enjoyment of teamwork and the willingness to share knowledge and take responsibility.

• Willingness to travel throughout Germany
