Senior Project Management Hydraulic Engineering / Coastal Engineering (m/f/d)

• Independent management, steering, and execution of demanding projects in hydraulic engineering, coastal engineering, as well as infrastructure and civil engineering
• Overall technical and economic responsibility for projects regarding quality, costs, deadlines, and risk management
• Leadership and steering of interdisciplinary project teams across all project phases
• Central point of contact for clients, authorities, specialist planners, and other internal and external project stakeholders
• Development of technically, economically, and sustainably convincing project solutions
• Ensuring high-quality planning results, taking into account relevant standards, regulations, and legal requirements
• Responsibility for the management of resources, budgets, and project-related opportunities and risks
• Active participation in acquisition, tender preparation, and the maintenance and further development of customer relationships
• Preparation, presentation, and coordination of concepts, reports, and decision proposals
• Contribution to the further development of technical standards, processes, and methods within the team
• In the long term, taking on further leadership tasks up to team, department, or site responsibility

• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Several years of professional experience in the responsible management of demanding engineering and infrastructure projects
• In-depth technical knowledge in hydraulic engineering, coastal engineering, or related areas of infrastructure and civil engineering
• Experience in leading and steering interdisciplinary project teams
• Proficient use of project management methods as well as cost, schedule, and risk management
• Good knowledge of relevant technical regulations, standards, approval, and award procedures
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking as well as a high degree of customer and service orientation
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident demeanor towards clients, authorities, and project partners
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working, as well as a high level of responsibility
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both spoken and written
