(Senior) Project Developer: PV/BESS

We are driving forward the German energy transition by specializing in comprehensive and sustainable battery storage and solar project development, which will decisively shape our future. Our core business is project development: We take care of the entire process from greenfield to successful production of the first solar power. We accompany landowners responsibly on their way to a PV-free area or battery storage facility and supply communities and their citizens with solar power together with partners.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a project developer (m/w/d) who will drive projects forward independently and take responsibility.

Tasks

• Independent development of PV-free area and/or BESS projects from idea to readiness for construction
• Building and taking responsibility for one's own project portfolio
• Active land acquisition and negotiation with property owners and caretakers
• Steering project-related topics in close coordination with internal colleagues/departments (planning law, permits, network connection, expert opinions)
• Regular project meetings and close coordination with the team and management
• Communication and coordination with municipalities, authorities, planning offices, and project partners
• Participation in the further development of our project and acquisition strategy
• Bringing in one's own ideas and project approaches – good ideas are explicitly welcome and can be actively implemented

Qualification

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, engineering, spatial planning, environmental science) or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in project development of photovoltaic and/or BESS projects is advantageous
• Safe demeanor and negotiation skills when dealing with property owners, municipalities, and project partners
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness to take responsibility and drive projects forward actively
• Very good German language skills
• You want to contribute significantly to the success of the energy transition with us
