Senior Project Manager
Location: Ponsonby, Auckland
Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid
About the role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that drive organisational outcomes and measurable business value. This role requires strong delivery leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. You will work across business and technical teams to design and deliver fit-for-purpose delivery approaches, maintaining momentum, accountability, and quality at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget
- Define project scope, success measures, delivery approaches, and detailed plans aligned to business objectives
- Establish and operate robust governance frameworks, including steering committees, reporting, and escalation pathways
- Lead cross-functional teams and vendors, driving accountability, collaboration, and delivery focus
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change to minimise delivery impact
- Deliver effective change management, ensuring stakeholder adoption and operational readiness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders through clear communication and structured reporting
