Job Title: Assistant General Manager/ Deputy General Manager – Project Manager (Solar) Location: Head Office – Mumbai Function: Projects – Solar Experience: 15–22 years Reports To: Head – Solar Projects Role Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Project Manager (Solar) to lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale solar power projects across India. This strategic role is based at Mumbai HO, with frequent travel to project sites during critical phases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple solar projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting. • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks. • Providing regular progress updates to senior management and other stakeholders. • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed. • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the solar sector. • Participating in business development activities, including identifying new project opportunities and developing proposals. • Ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with company values and principles. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. • At least 15 years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar industry. • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. • Strong understanding of solar power generation technologies, including photovoltaic (PV) systems. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
