Senior Project Manager

Location: Port Elizabeth

Contract Duration: 6 Months contract

Qualifications Required:

• Engineering qualification
• Project management qualification
• Experience in managing industrial gas projects
• Project and leadership management experience

The project Manager is expected to do the following:

• To be based in Port Elizabeth and report to the site for the duration of the project (5 days a working week)
• Ensure that the project is executed safely, on time (within 6 months) and in compliance with company’s group standards.
• Report weekly via email to the engineering team based in Johannesburg
• Ensure project documentation is available and accurate, this includes municipal approvals
• Participate in the design review meetings
• Oversee and manage the execution of the demonstration of the existing filling station and re-building and new filling shelter
• Ensure the relocation to the existing storage vessels to the new plinths is done safely.
• Liaise with the AL facility manager on the day-to-day operations of the facility during construction
• Oversee and manage the installation of the electrical work and pipeline (process and instruments)
• Procurement of services and material required for the project will be done through AL procurement with the input of the project manager.
