Senior Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with data centre experience to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in managing data centre construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, while upholding industry standards and client expectations. Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end management of data centre construction projects. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and budgets. Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards. Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure timely and within-budget project delivery, while maintaining high-quality results. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the data centre industry. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar.
