The Role

Join a team shaping the future of industry with AI. As a Value & Adoption Lead, your primary mission will be to ensure sustained adoption of Cognite solutions within our most complex strategic accounts.

With thousands of active field users, multiple industrial installations, and data products in production, our major co-innovation partnerships are part of multi-year AI transformations.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical deployment and business value realization. Working closely with clients and the Strategic Accounts team, you will drive the end-to-end integration of our technologies—such as agentic AI, Flows, and Adaptive Experiences—into the daily operations of field engineers, maintenance planners, and management teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive Value Creation and Tracking: Ensure the value trajectory across four key account dimensions (Retention → User Activation → Workflow Integration → Business Outcome Measurement). Maintain a consolidated dashboard of generated value, serving as an essential reference for decision-makers.
• Structure Support and Adoption Approach: Transform ad-hoc support actions into a formalized, repeatable, and scalable adoption program. Design targeted learning paths via Cognite Academy, implement train-the-trainer programs, and oversee transitions to enhanced support.
• Build a Network of Internal Champions: Identify, engage, and train key opinion leaders and users at each site to ensure long-term client autonomy.
• Diagnose and Remove Blockers: Conduct rigorous analyses when tool usage slows down (training, usability, internal processes). Coordinate cross-functional teams—Delivery, Field Engineering, Academy, and Customer Success—to quickly remove these obstacles.
• Act as a Strategic Advisor: Engage with client executives (Operations Directors, Asset Managers, Transformation Directors) to align operational indicators (KPIs) with technological capabilities, and translate complex concepts into measurable economic impacts.
• Industrialize Practice: Contribute to enriching Cognite's overall Value & Adoption methodology by creating operational guides (playbooks), metrics, and reusable diagnostic tools for our entire strategic portfolio.

Required Profile

• Mastery of Industrial Environments: Solid experience in energy, heavy industry, or the Oil & Gas sector. You understand the field, speak the language of operational teams, and immediately inspire trust, from the shop floor to the executive committee.
• Change Management Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale digital transformation programs, technology deployments, or strategic consulting in industrial settings.
• Value-Driven and Product-Savvy: Dynamic and curious, eager to learn our suite of AI solutions (Flows, Atlas AI, agentic tools) to directly link product performance with business results.
• Interpersonal Skills and Team Spirit: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging fluently with maintenance technicians and senior executives during quarterly performance reviews.
• Rigor and Organizational Skills: Ability to structure a demanding work rhythm. Aptitude for tracking quantitative metrics (monthly active users, depth of usage, reduction in operational costs) while managing complex cross-functional projects.
• AI Aptitude: Proactive daily use of AI-augmented tools (content generation, personalized materials, executive report summarization).
