Role Description

This role sits at the center of how AXI Finance moves projects forward. You will work at the intersection of business, technology and regulation, turning company priorities into concrete, well-managed initiatives. You will have real decision-making autonomy over your projects and a direct line to senior management, so your work has a visible impact on the company’s development. The position suits someone who is comfortable bringing different teams together without formal authority, who understands the realities of a regulated financial environment, and who also enjoys sharing project management know-how with colleagues.

What the role involves

• Planning, running and closing projects within agreed scope, timeline and budget
• Defining objectives and deliverables together with project sponsors and stakeholders
• Coordinating project teams made up of colleagues from IT, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Marketing and Business Development
• Managing project budgets, risks and change requests
• Working with external vendors and consultants and following up on deliverables
• Coordinating testing and UAT through to go-live
• Reporting project status and key decisions to management

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Project Manager in an IFN (non-banking financial institution)
• Experience coordinating projects with cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Experience with digitalization, IT implementations or product launches
• Familiarity with the regulatory framework applicable to IFNs
• Good knowledge of project planning, budgeting and risk management
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence or Asana, and good MS Office skills
• University degree, preferably in economics, engineering, IT or management
• Advanced English
• Good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams without direct authority
