Job description
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing both general construction and structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations and project timelines. Job Descriptions: Liaise with consultants, resident engineer and clerk-of works on any matter related to construction works e.g. inspection of reinforcement concrete works and discrepancies in drawings. To execute the works and EHS matters planned by the Project Manager / Construction Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders. This includes ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained, conducting regular site inspections, monitoring progress against project schedules and budgets, and identifying and addressing any potential issues or risks. The Project Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including documentation of materials used, labor hours worked, and equipment usage.
