About our Client
As a principal head contractor with strong relationships with mining asset owners, our client has developed a strong portfolio of projects within the mine establishment and water management sector. Offering D&C and Construct Only solutions to blue-chip clients, they continue to forge a strong reputation for service delivery and quality.

With several new project awards despite market conditions, they are going through an exciting growth phase and we are seeking an experienced Sr Project Engineer and Deputy Project Manager with extensive civil construction and poly pipe experience in remote areas.

About the Opportunity
With recent project awards driving company growth, we are seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Sr Project Engineer with previous experience working on a FIFO roster, and specific experience in mine site dewatering projects for blue-chip mining clients in WA.

Skills and attributes required in this role include;

• Engineering Qualified (Civil/ Structural/ Mechanical etc) with a minimum of 10 years of experience
• Strong background on mine site SMP, HDPE piping, and ancillary civil works, particularly in dewatering works.
• Sound project scheduling, cost control, and reporting capabilities with the ability to step up into a PM role.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
• Prepared to work a FIFO roster on 2/1 rotation
• Current Rio Tinto (RTIO) inductions highly advantageous

As a contractor working primarily as a head contractor, this is an opportunity to get in with a company that has a strong order book and a clear pathway for development to project manager.

Salary is expected to be circa $180k - $220k + Super + uplift
