Step into a role where your coordination skills, eye for detail, and ability to bring people together will directly support the delivery of meaningful housing outcomes. As our Senior Project Coordinator, you’ll be the engine room behind our Market Delivery and Property Delivery teams—ensuring projects run smoothly, data is reliable, and everyone has what they need to deliver at pace.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on maintaining high data quality, managing systems and registers, and making sure discrepancies are caught early. You’ll oversee project schedules, streamline data flows, and support continuous improvement across our processes. Your ability to build strong relationships will be key, as you’ll work closely with teams across the organisation and with a range of external partners including contractors, developers, councils and LINZ.
You’ll also play a mentoring role within the team—supporting Project Coordinators and Administrators, helping them succeed, and championing best practice across workflows and documentation.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
* Tertiary qualification or equivalent construction-related experience
* Experience in project management administration, reporting, and methodologies
* Ability to manage project deliverables through development pipelines, including quality systems and health & safety reporting
* Proven experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in construction or housing
* Strong customer relationship-building skills
* Ability to influence and work effectively with external organisations
* Experience providing administrative support for large, multi-team projects
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to represent the organisation professionally
* People leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience
* Full and current New Zealand driver licence
