Tasks

This is what you'll be doing at our company:

• Project leadership: Take responsibility for digital projects from start to launch. Ensure that quality and budget meet our standards – even if you're managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Structure & Implementation: Plan, structure and steer projects with clarity and vision in close cooperation with our customers and Tech Leads from our teams.
• Alignment between customer and technology: Recognize customer needs, translate them into clear, executable steps for the team, track progress and identify hurdles early on. Ensure that user needs and technical reality align.
• Counseling and understanding: Conduct customer conversations and user interviews, gather feedback and counsel your customers proactively to make informed decisions.
• Teams accompany, promote and lead: Support your development team (2-5 people) throughout the entire project cycle. Provide feedback, conduct reviews and take personal responsibility for the further development and well-being of your team.
• Ahead with action: Despite strategic responsibilities, you'll remain close to the project's progress, organize GitHub tasks, support testing and quality assurance, and actively shape things.
• Anticipatory action: Recognize risks early on, develop smart solutions and think projects one step ahead.

Qualification

This is what you bring with you:

• Experience in project management: You have several years of experience in managing complex (tech-)projects with high self-responsibility, sovereignty and structure.
• Tech-Driven Mindset: You are tech-savvy (a developer's background or private tech projects are helpful but not necessary) and can clearly grasp technical requirements and convey them precisely and constructively between different stakeholders.
• Hands-on mentality: You shape actively, ensure tempo and quality, and don't shy away from getting into details when needed.
• Clear communication: You communicate clearly, structured and fluently in German and English.
• High-Performance Mindset: You think ahead, tackle challenges, react flexibly to changes, take responsibility and go the extra mile to find practical solutions.
• Residence in Germany: You are registered in Germany and can work flexibly remotely or come to our Cologne office whenever it suits you.
