Senior Product Development Technologist

The role: We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Development Technologist to lead innovation across our Sport and Food categories. This is a pivotal role where your technical expertise and creativity will drive the development of high-quality, consumer-focused products that support active lifestyles and wellbeing. Reporting to the Product Development Manager of Sport and Food, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative products that meet the needs of our customers. Your key responsibilities will include: • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of consumer trends, preferences, and behaviors in the Sport and Food categories. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and developing concepts that meet business objectives. • Designing and developing prototypes and testing products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. • Working closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality materials and components. • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. • Providing technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams to support product development and launch. • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in the Sport and Food categories and applying this knowledge to drive business growth. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the Sport and Food categories. • Strong technical expertise in food science, nutrition, and product development. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills. Certifications: • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification is an asset. • Food Safety Certification is an asset.
