Reporting to the COO, this role owns the end-to-end product development lifecycle — from consumer insight and concept ideation through formulation, packaging, testing, and commercial launch. You will work closely with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Procurement, Quality, and Operations to bring innovative, high-performing, and commercially viable products to market, while also managing costs to protect product margins.Key Responsibilities· Identify key consumer insights, market trends, and emerging opportunities to drive skincare product innovation.· Translate consumer and market insights into compelling and commercially viable new skincare product concepts.· Lead product development projects from concept to launch, working closely with internal and external R&D partners.· Manage the end-to-end product development process, including formulation, packaging development, prototyping, testing, and product industrialization.· Drive the development and improvement of existing formulations to enhance product performance, quality, consumer appeal, and cost efficiency.· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Procurement, Quality, and Operations, to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to requirements.· Monitor project timelines, identify potential risks or delays, and drive timely resolution to ensure successful project completion.· Manage product pricing and development costs to achieve targeted product margins and overall profitability.· Support product launches and ensure all development activities are aligned with the company's brand, quality, regulatory, and commercial requirements.· Undertake other ad-hoc product development and innovation projects as assigned.Requirements· Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field. · Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in product development, formulation, or R&D within the skincare, cosmetics, or personal care industry. · Solid understanding of skincare formulation principles, raw materials, packaging development, and product industrialization processes. · Proven track record of managing new product development projects from concept through to launch. · Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards for skincare/cosmetic products across relevant markets. · Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously. · Commercially minded, with experience managing product costing, pricing, and margin targets. · Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Procurement, and Operations. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and quality. · Proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
