Senior Product Designer (M/F/*)

Responsibilities

• You will design our products from the initial idea to implementation, balancing user needs and business goals. In doing so, you will find the right balance between speed and high design quality.

• You will further develop our design processes and quality standards at amber and contribute your own ideas to improve our collaboration.

• You will support other designers through constructive feedback, share your knowledge, and help the team develop professionally.

• You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering, jointly set priorities, and ensure that solutions deliver measurable added value.

• You will shape amber's long-term design vision and translate our product strategy into understandable, intuitive, and compelling user experiences.

• You will guide your designs through to implementation and, together with Engineering, ensure high quality down to the last detail.

• You will help shape an open, appreciative, and collaborative design culture – and develop the future of AI-powered knowledge work with us.
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Passion for AI and a clear understanding of its opportunities, especially in the design field.

• Experience using AI applications, particularly for design tasks.

• A compelling portfolio with B2B SaaS products and demonstrable added value for users and companies.

• Independent, solution-oriented way of working with an eye for the big picture and the details.

• Experience in structuring complex tasks, setting priorities, and advancing multiple topics.

• You work efficiently, are resilient, and maintain an overview even under high workload – even when you are advancing multiple complex topics simultaneously.

• Enjoyment of knowledge sharing, mentoring, and constructive feedback.

• Very good knowledge of Visual and Interaction Design, user-centered methods, research, and Figma.

• Ability to derive design decisions from user needs, qualitative insights, and quantitative data.

• Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

• Very good German and English skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex content understandably and persuasively.

• Experience in co-designing product strategies.
