Job description

Your Tasks

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst who combines analytical precision with a strong product sense. You make decisions based on data. You will uncover real user problems based on qualitative and quantitative data, develop an assessment of what should change, set up the appropriate experiment, and analyze the results yourself.

You are part of a product team focused on a segment of the user journey, working closely with the person responsible for that area and the developers building within it. You will join a group of Conversion Analysts within the company who work in a similar way, bringing a perspective and experience that the entire team will learn from.

Our product is exclusively for the German-speaking market. To truly understand and design for our users, fluent German is essential. Good English skills are also required for collaboration within the team.

What You Will Do Specifically:

  • Identify the actual problem before you solve it. Dive into quantitative and qualitative data until you find the real question behind the request. Then make it understandable and actionable. A well-formulated problem is half the solution.
  • Set up the experiment, read it honestly, and decide what comes next. Define a testable change, instrument it cleanly, and analyze the result. Then use what you've learned to formulate the next question. This includes reporting on tests that didn't work and shaping the next step.
  • Use AI and apply your judgment where it matters. AI supports many of our initial drafts. You will brief it, question it, and ensure quality – so your own time remains for the thinking that a model cannot provide.
  • Argue for removal. Adding is easy. You will help decide what deserves its place and what should be removed – and be prepared to stand by it.
  • Talk to neighbors. Experiments tell you what happened – not what people would have needed. You will spend real time with the people who use the product, because you cannot develop an understanding of others through A/B tests.
  • Design experiences based on real user needs and real community life. Your job is to contribute to flows and screens that are intuitively usable and justify their existence through measurable added value.

Your Profile

  • You have a strong product sense and work data-driven. Your background can vary – Product Analytics, CRO, Growth Engineering, or a more hybrid role from Product or Design – as long as you know how to sharpen hypotheses, set up experiments, and translate results into decisions.
  • You have conducted experiments from start to finish and know how to move from one to the next: formulate a hypothesis, develop strong variants, define the right metrics, analyze results, and make a clear decision – launch, discard, or iterate.
  • You have technical know-how and experience in setting up and evaluating experiments in an A/B testing tool, as well as in creating the necessary dashboards for it.
  • You fetch your own numbers via SQL queries. You work with raw data to gain insights and identify opportunities – without having to wait for others.
  • You have basic statistical knowledge. You don't need to master R, but you understand what Bayesian vs. frequentist statistics are about and why you conduct a power analysis before starting an experiment.
  • You present your work clearly, defend your decisions when they are questioned, and are confident in front of an audience.
  • You work routinely with AI tools. This role gives you more influence and control – but for this, you must be able to use and develop our AI enablement stack.
  • Very good German skills are required – you will design and evaluate texts and flows for German-speaking users.
  • Good English skills for collaboration in an international team.

Please send us a cover letter explaining why this role and why now – and describe at least one project, explaining it from start to finish: the hypothesis, what you tested, the result, and what you learned from it. Show us how you used data to advance your thinking, and where experiments influenced what you built.

What We Offer

  • A hybrid work model that combines at least two office days with remote work.
  • A meaningful job – we are creating a great product with real added value for the community.
  • Collaboration in a cheerful and experienced team that exchanges ideas and learns from each other.
  • Insight into the entire work process of our social startup as well as the foundation.
  • Responsibility and great opportunities to actively contribute.
  • Your SpenditCard – each month you receive an additional income of 35 Euros, which you can use for things of your choice.
  • 30 days of vacation per year – we also offer the possibility of workation models and sabbaticals.
