Podstars by OMR is an expert in branded podcasts, commissioned productions for all industries, and a leading marketer of economic and business podcasts in the DACH region, and the OMR Podcast with Philipp Westermeyer is the voice of the digital economy.
Every week, we speak with the most exciting minds from business, entertainment, and pop culture. To take our audio and video content to the next level, we are looking for an experienced producer (m/f/d) who combines technical excellence with highly efficient workflows.
Are you passionate about high-end productions, do you have an eye for perfect video editing, and an ear for crystal-clear sound? Do you maintain an overview even with tight timelines and want to actively shape the visual identity of the OMR Podcast? Then you are exactly right with us!
Where you can really make a difference
- You will be responsible for the complete technical implementation of our episodes – from setting up the podcast settings in the studio and during external productions (including lighting and recording) to high-end post-production and uploading the final episodes.
- You will edit and mix our long-format content as well as captivating YouTube intros to increase watchtime, trailers, and especially short-form content for the OMR Podcast's social channels – creating click-worthy thumbnails is also part of this.
- You will ensure compliance with our look & sound standards, continuously optimize workflows, and constantly develop the format further in terms of production technology.
- You will follow trends, provide valuable input to the team, and always keep the future-oriented further development of our processes and productions in mind.
- You will take full responsibility for the raw material (backup & archiving) and will be available for sparring sessions with junior colleagues and freelancers.
What makes you stand out
- You have solid, long-standing experience in professional audio and video recording as well as high-end post-production.
- You convince with your expertise in video editing of social media reels for major brands. You immediately recognize the strongest hooks, master dynamic caption animations, and know how storytelling works on every platform.
- You have excellent knowledge of common video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve) as well as technical equipment (cameras, lighting, etc.) and the implementation of AI tools; you also have solid knowledge of color grading.
- Good knowledge of audio editing software and a feel for sound design round off your profile.
- You are strong in communication, open, and have a positive demeanor that shines both within the team and when interacting with our prominent guests.
- You are structured, reliably handle backups of your recordings (e.g., on Google Drive or NAS), and keep a cool head even "on the road" or during spontaneous shoots.
- Experience in podcast production is a plus, but not a requirement.
