Senior Procurement Manager - Retail

Description We are currently hiring a Senior Procurement Manager - Retail to join the team at RPO Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our clients in the retail industry. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement procurement strategies for retail clients. * Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management. * Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. * Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers. * Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs. * Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. * Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the retail industry. * Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies. * Strong negotiation and contract management skills. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Ability to analyze data and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Experience managing a team of procurement professionals. * Knowledge of procurement software and systems. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
