Senior Process Engineer (m/w/d)

In this role, you are responsible for process design for advanced separation technologies and work closely with Sales, R&D, and Engineering. You develop technical standards and support the further development of future product generations in an international environment.

Tasks

• You are responsible for process-side design of separators, housings, and pressure vessels, including technical alignments, design approvals, and optimizations.
• You develop technical concepts, sketches, and reliable cost and economic analyses for complex process engineering systems.
• You support Sales in handling demanding customer inquiries, bid phases, and technical discussions.
• You conduct root cause analyses for disturbances, complaints, and deviations and define sustainable solution approaches.
• You work closely with other departments and develop standards further.
• You support Procurement in evaluating the technical suitability of customer-specific components.
• You accompany the onboarding of new colleagues and develop knowledge and training processes further.
• You work actively in international project and expert teams and are responsible for technical interfaces.

Qualification

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Physics
• Several years of experience in the field of gas/liquid separation, preferably with droplet-separator technologies
• Fundamental knowledge of fluid mechanics, material science (metals/plastics), and measurement technology
• Basic knowledge of strength calculation
• Experience with 2D/3D-CAD is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical, self-organized, communicative, and team-oriented
• Travel readiness for customer visits, trade fairs, or conferences
