Senior Process Engineer

Introduction This position is based at our Head Office in Woodmead, Johannesburg, and will require periodic national and international travel to operations, depending on project needs. Description Minopex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Business Improvement and Technical (BIT) team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, deploying innovative products to operations, supporting special projects, and providing technical support to the operations teams. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and productivity gains; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business improvement initiatives; • Providing technical guidance and support to operations teams; • Conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective actions for process deviations; • Maintaining accurate records of process changes, deviations, and corrective actions. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; • Minimum 5 years' experience in a process engineering role; • Strong understanding of process control systems and automation technologies; • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work effectively in a team environment; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
