Senior Principal Systems Engineer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

As Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you hold the technical threads of our weapon system in your hand. You are responsible for the overall architecture, bringing together the various disciplines and making design decisions that determine the performance and deployability of our missiles.

• You are responsible for the technical overall architecture of the weapon system
• You specify and maintain requirements on a system-, subsystem- and component-level
• You ensure technical consistency across all disciplines
• You steer technical trade-off analyses and make well-founded design decisions
• You coordinate aerodynamics, mechanics, electronics, navigation and software into a comprehensive overall system
• You support verification and validation throughout the entire development cycle

Qualifikation

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering or a comparable field
• Multiple years of experience with missile-, aerospace- or comparable complex systems
• Fundamental experience in systems engineering and requirements management
• Knowledge of military requirements and scenarios
• Pragmatic, result-oriented work style with well-developed system thinking
• Proven successful development of hardware up to flight test is advantageous
• Experience with MBSE or SysML as well as knowledge of relevant military and aerospace standards are advantageous
• Knowledge in the area of Electronic Warfare is advantageous
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
• Nationality of an EU or NATO member state (excluding USA) and willingness to undergo a security check according to SÜG
