• Responsibility for the analysis, architecture, conception, and implementation of complex cloud and data platforms for renowned clients from various industries
• Technical leadership in the development of modern cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solutions for analytical systems
• Design and implementation of scalable Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, and modern data architectures
• Advising our clients on cloud strategies, architectural decisions, and technology selection
• Planning and execution of demanding cloud migrations and modernization of existing data platforms
• Development of Proof of Concepts, reference architectures, and best practices for innovative technologies
• Technical leadership of projects or sub-projects, as well as responsibility for architecture and quality standards
• Mentoring and coaching of consultants and engineers, as well as knowledge transfer within the team
• Conducting workshops, architecture reviews, and technical presentations at the client level
• Active co-creation of our service portfolio, as well as support in pre-sales activities and proposal processes

• Successfully completed university studies in a STEM field or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years (Senior) or 8+ years (Principal) of practical experience in cloud and data engineering or in the architecture of modern data platforms
• In-depth project experience with at least one leading cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or Google Cloud, as well as technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable solutions
• Very good knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Data Lake, Data Mesh) and corresponding best practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD, DevOps, and automated deployment processes
• Very good knowledge in the development of scalable data pipelines and in the processing of structured and unstructured data
• Experience in architectural decisions, technical reviews, and the successful implementation of complex client projects
• High consulting competence as well as confident demeanor towards clients and stakeholders at various levels
• Enjoyment in passing on knowledge, coaching colleagues, and taking on technical responsibility
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working, and high self-responsibility
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and the willingness to actively shape them
