Senior PR Consultant

Tasks

• Strategic leadership and development of multiple client accounts from various industries – from communication strategy to implementation
• Independent conception and control of corporate and product PR campaigns as well as cross-media communications measures
• Facilitative leadership and mentoring of junior- and mid-level team members in daily business and projects
• Active shaping of agency development: participation in pitches, development of offers, and expansion of client portfolios
• Building, maintaining, and targeted use of a reliable journalist and media contact network to increase the visibility of our clients
• Development of convincing communication strategies and equity stories for growth companies Writing and editing high-quality content: press releases, guest articles, statements, advertorials, social media content, and reporting
• Organization and moderation of press conferences, interviews, and speaker placements at relevant industry events

Qualification

• At least 7 years of professional experience in the field of PR/communication, preferably on an agency side
• Experience in leading a team or department – you know how to develop and motivate people
• A well-maintained network of journalists, editors, and media houses that you actively bring into play
• Demonstrable experience in new business and pitch processes: from briefing analysis to convincing presentation
• Strategic thinking on a company level: You understand how PR fits into the overall strategy of a company and bring experience in developing communication and growth narratives
• Fluent German and English in writing and speaking
• A strong sense of initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations
• Pasión for the start-up and scale-up scene and a fine sense of media trends and communication opportunities
