Senior Policy Manager

We're seeking a Senior Policy Manager to lead our EU policy initiatives and help shape the regulatory landscape for privacy-enhancing technologies. This role will be instrumental in advancing OpenMined's mission by engaging with EU policymakers, contributing to regulatory frameworks, and ensuring our technical solutions align with evolving privacy regulations while supporting our global infrastructure deployment strategy. Responsibilities Policy Strategy & Advocacy Develop and execute OpenMined's policy initiatives across the EU, working closely with stakeholders, including policymakers, industry partners, and civil society organizations. This includes developing and implementing advocacy strategies to promote OpenMined's mission and values, as well as building relationships with key decision-makers in the EU institutions. Regulatory Compliance Ensure that OpenMined's technical solutions comply with evolving privacy regulations and standards, such as GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and other relevant EU laws and regulations. This includes staying up-to-date on regulatory developments, providing guidance to internal stakeholders, and collaborating with external partners to ensure compliance. Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry partners, civil society organizations, and other relevant parties. This includes developing and implementing engagement strategies, as well as participating in relevant events, meetings, and discussions. Global Infrastructure Deployment Strategy Support the deployment of OpenMined's global infrastructure by ensuring that our technical solutions align with evolving privacy regulations while contributing to regulatory frameworks. This includes working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and policymakers to advance OpenMined's mission.
