Senior Platform Engineer (m/w/d) – Production Reliability für KI-Systeme

You ensure that software is not only built – but also reliably operated?

We develop modern AI systems at Neurawork, working with AI-Agents, LLMs and fast development cycles. What we need is not another feature machine – but someone who ensures that our systems run stably, scalable and production-ready.

Your mission with us: Our software runs reliably in production.

Not as theory. Not as best practice document. But in real operation.

You will work closely with our Dev Team and AI Consulting Team together and be responsible for the technical stability of our platforms – fully remote, with a lot of self-responsibility.

Aufgaben

The central challenge: We develop software at high speed, use new technologies (AI-Agents, LLMs, modern toolchains) and must ensure that what we build runs reliably in production.

We need someone with the experience, to keep it under control:

• Consistent delivery despite fast development cycles
• Stability despite new, rapidly developing technologies
• Production Reliability as core responsibility

This role is NOT: A checklist of technical skills. Observability, Kubernetes, CI/CD - these are tools. The goal is: Software runs reliably in production.

Qualifikation

Must-Have Experience:

• Production experience with systems that could not fail
• Incident Response under pressure
• Fast iteration in changing environments

Technically:

• Kubernetes (Cloud or On-Premise)
• Python (mandatory - central language)
• Supabase (openness mandatory, experience desirable)
• Helm Charts, Terraform/Pulumi
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Prometheus, Grafana
• Docker, Linux, Git

Soft Skills:

• Self-reliance
• Solution-oriented thinking
• System thinking
• Fluent German

AI Coding Agents:

• Power User (daily use)
• Readiness to develop internal tools further

Nice-to-Have:

• On-Premise/Bare-Metal experience
• GPU infrastructure (NVIDIA GPU Operator)
• Cluster migration between providers
• Alternative clouds (Hetzner, Schwarz IT)
• SaaS experience
