Senior PHP/Symfony Developer (m/w/d) – When You Know What You're Doing

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a backend developer with PHP 8+ and Symfony
• Backend Stack: MySQL, RESTful APIs, Message Queue, Redis, Git, Docker – you master the entire toolkit
• Testing Expertise: PHPUnit (Unit & Functional Tests) is your standard, not optional
• Eigenverantwortung: You work structured and to a high degree independently responsible
• Team Player: You communicate proactively and drive the team forward
• Fluent English (international team)

Your Tasks

• Feature Development: New features and business logic in the PHP/Symfony backend in coordination with the specialist teams
• API Provisioning: RESTful interfaces for website and app
• Code Quality: Write tests, perform code reviews, ensure quality in the team
• Technical Leadership: Make architectural decisions, mentor and support junior/mid-level developers
• Performance & Maintenance: Continuously improve the codebase and update libraries
• Reliability: Monitor, handle errors, and ensure system stability
