Tasks

• Software development & optimization: You will work on a management software, develop it further, and ensure its maintenance, stability, and continuous optimization.
• Together with the architecture team, you will review and improve the software architecture and actively shape the technological further development of the platform.
• You will share your knowledge with other developers – through training, coaching, and mentoring – and support the development of the team.
• You will design and implement high-performance interfaces to external software systems.
• In a SCRUM team, you will conceptualize new features, take responsibility for technical concepts, and accompany these until release.
• You have a lot of freedom to use new technologies, develop creative solutions, and further develop the software so that educational institutions can effectively shape their digital future.

Qualification

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification, alternatively long-term practical experience in PHP development, including experience in software architecture
• Safe handling of unit and integration tests
• Experience with relational databases, ideally MySQL
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
• Vantage: Experience with frameworks and tools like Angular, Tailwind, Webpack, Kubernetes, Docker, or Bootstrap
• Passion for new technologies and continuous further development
• Teamwork skills, humor, quality awareness, and solution-oriented working style
• Good German language skills (C1) and secure English language skills in writing and speaking
