Senior Performance Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to join a team responsible for developing modern solutions in the field of performance testing and performance engineering. The person in this role will design and develop test frameworks, build Performance Testing as Code solutions, and support development teams in delivering scalable and high-performance applications. Scope of responsibilities: Design and development of frameworks and libraries for performance testing using JavaScript (ES6+) and k6. Creation and maintenance of automated performance tests for web applications and APIs. Analysis of test results, identification of bottlenecks, and recommendation of performance improvements. Integration of performance tests with CI/CD processes and development of a test automation platform. Collaboration with development teams in defining best practices in the area of Performance Engineering. Participation in code reviews and development of high code quality standards. Requirements: Very good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+). Practical experience with k6 and automated performance testing. Experience in testing web applications and REST APIs (GraphQL will be an additional asset). Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Ability to analyze application performance and identify performance issues. Very good knowledge of English. Nice to have: Experience in building performance testing platforms. Knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Application Insights). Experience in regulated environments (e.g., pharma, healthcare, life sciences). Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools supporting code quality and AI-assisted development.
