Senior Performance Designer:in - Paid Social (m/f/d)

You design ads that are beautiful. With us, you will learn why they perform - or why not.

We are Growthartig, one of the leading paid social agencies in Germany. We work with D2C brands that invest seriously in Meta. Our design team produces static ads every week that go live, are tested, and evaluated. Then, iterations are made based on the data. We are not looking for just another designer for the team. We are looking for an experienced person who takes responsibility: for the quality of our creatives, for our AI workflows, and for the professional development of the team. You will work closely with our Design Team Lead Victoria and provide her with operational support.

We are looking for a Senior Performance Designer:in - Paid Social (m/f/d) for our Berlin location, starting immediately.

Your tasks:

• You develop ad concepts for Meta: Hook, Message, Visual, and Copy as a unit. You know what problem an ad should solve before you design it.

• You understand performance data, read analyses from the growth team, and derive the next iterations from them.

• You work with generative AI and critically evaluate results: What is missing for it to perform and fit the brand? Your design skill makes the difference between generated and good output.

• You build, maintain, and improve the AI workflows of the team. You incorporate feedback from the team, optimize processes, and introduce new tools if they make us better.

• You ensure quality: feedback on creatives, review before submission, standards that apply.

• You design yourself where your signature is needed, especially for key visuals, new concepts, and demanding clients.

What you bring:

• At least 4 years of experience in design, with demonstrably paid social or performance creative experience. Your portfolio shows ads, not just brand projects.

• You can explain why an ad performed well. Terms like Hook Rate, CTR, ROAS, or Creative Testing are your working basis, not foreign words.

• You have a strong eye for brand design and know how to carry a brand in a 1:1 or 9:16 format without sacrificing performance.

• You understand copy and concept. You don't have to be a copywriter, but you can recognize a weak headline.

• You are already working with generative AI today (e.g., NanoBanana, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and are eager to delve deeper: building workflows, understanding automations, trying out agentic tools.

• You take responsibility without being asked.

• Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma at a high level, fluent in German and English.
