Senior People Operations Specialist (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

Location: Munich, hybrid (2 days/week in office, rest remote) · Temporary until the end of February 2028 · 30-40 hours/week

We are looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist (m/w/d) to represent during parental leave, temporarily until the end of February 2028. This individual Contributor (IC) role reports directly to the VP People & Organization and has its focus on Germany.

You will take over with our existing People Operations Manager the operational responsibility for People Operations and ensure operational excellence in the Employee Lifecycle. You will act independently at a senior level, bringing deep professional expertise and taking responsibility for complex workstreams of our P&O agenda.

• You will function as an experienced voice in the team and bring your own standards for quality, compliance, and employee experience.
• You will be responsible for complex and sensitive topics in the Employee Lifecycle independently, from difficult contract situations to special constellations up to multiple interpretations of termination, part-time or parental leave cases.
• You will be a professional point of contact for contractual and social insurance law questions and work sovereignly with external consultants (e.g. tax consultant, law firm).
• You will drive the development of our compliance topics (data protection, maternity protection, etc.) independently and steer the implementation with high autonomy.
• You will lead complex P&O OKR workstreams and projects with design freedom from conception to rollout and shape the further development of our processes through technology and AI actively.
• You will take on sparring and mentoring for less experienced colleagues in the team.

What You Bring

• A completed degree in business administration, psychology, personnel management, labor law or a comparable field.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in operational personnel work, ideally in a dynamic, international environment with hybrid or remote working, including independent steering of HR projects (e.g. compliance build-up, system migration or process optimization).
• Fundamental knowledge of German labor and social insurance law. You can independently assess complex cases, including termination protection, AGG precedents, and social insurance law questions.
• Advanced knowledge in the handling of KI tools in HR context.
• High content-based autonomy, developed judgment and security in dealing with sensitive topics and stakeholders at management level. Discretion, professional distance, clear communication, and pleasure in building work.
• Versatile German language skills and good to very good English language skills.
