(Senior) People Business Partner

As a (Senior) People Business Partner (m/f/d), you are the central point of contact and a strategic sparring partner for executives in Germany. You know the teams, their challenges, and their goals – and together with the executives, you shape the right framework for collaboration, performance, and development. You act proactively rather than reactively: you recognize needs for action early on, advise confidently even in difficult situations, and accompany organizational changes from idea to implementation. You work closely with management, executives, and our teams and contribute significantly to ensuring that #teamgreen can continue to grow healthily.

Proactive Leadership Partnering

You are in regular exchange with the executives assigned to you and advise them confidentially on all team and personnel matters – from leadership issues and team dynamics to individual employee concerns. This allows you to identify tensions and needs for action early on and help resolve issues before they escalate.

Employee Relations

You accompany difficult situations with employees and conflicts in a solution-oriented, fair, and considerate manner for all parties involved. This also includes termination negotiations, dismissal processes, and labor law escalations, which you manage legally soundly together with the executives (and possibly external labor law advice).

Organizational Development

You are involved in shaping reorganizations and changes in leadership structures – from conception and communication to implementation. You also support internal transfers and moderate team conflicts to ensure open and trusting collaboration.

Workforce & Talent Planning

Together with the departments and Talent Acquisition, you plan future personnel requirements quantitatively and qualitatively: Based on business strategy and market development, you identify the skills of tomorrow, recognize succession and key person risks, and derive suitable measures that you also follow up on.

Performance & Leadership Effectiveness

You support executives in performance reviews and in dealing with low performance, design and moderate talent reviews, and promote the development of critical executives through feedback, coaching, and individual development measures.

• Several years of experience as an HR/People Business Partner, ideally in consulting, IT, or SAP environments – whether through a degree (e.g., HR, psychology, business administration, or law) or another path.

• Sound knowledge of German labor law and experience with conflict situations, termination negotiations, and separation processes.

• Experience in supporting change processes, talent reviews, and succession and personnel requirement planning.

• Empathy, a clear stance, and discretion – you tackle issues proactively and are a sparring partner at eye level, even for experienced executives.

• Fluent German and very good English skills.
