Senior Payroll Officer

The company

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a professional with extensive payroll experience. This is a long-term temp-to-permanent role offering a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to work up to 4 days from home.

The role:

• Manage monthly payroll processing
• Support day-to-day operations and end-of-month activities
• Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations
• Handle salary packaging, payroll tax, and superannuation payments
• Process new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
• Manage Centrelink Paid Parental Leave and Workers Compensation payments
• Address employee queries and calculate redundancies
• Assist the broader team with additional tasks
• Monitor daily HRIS integrations

Your profile:

• Extensive payroll experience, ideally in a senior role with mentoring responsibilities
• Strong technical skills; Experience with large payroll systems
• Adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude
